Stop Doing This NOW!

How many times have you made a promise to yourself and were super excited to get started?

We get all the essentials we need to get started. We prepare ourselves for the new found inspiration and get ready to give it a go! We take ONE true shot and it doesn’t go as planned. We lose all faith in the plan and decide its no longer important to us.

Until the the urge hits again. Then we are back to square one. Starting all over again. From the basics. That same fierce motivation hits. This time a little more urgency because now we are further from our initial goal as before. So the importance has grown tremendously and so has our renewed faith in our ability to achieve said goal.

We give it another shot! A little longer this time too. We feel better mentally. Our mood is better. Our nutrition is better. Our cravings for sugary foods have lessened. We even find ourselves looking forward to our workouts now.

Then we step on the scale and it hasn’t budged! Motivation goes down the drain and we give up again. Because why would we continue to eat heathier foods, if the scale isn’t going to drop 5lbs every other day? Even though we feel better than we ever have. Why would we continue to workout if the scale won’t reflect it immediately? Even though we actually started to enjoy the workouts and the routine.

Stop Doing This NOW!

Stop giving up on yourself! Stop talking yourself out of an active lifestyle. Stop basing it off of the scale and base it off of the benefits that come along with it. Longevity. Mobility. Regularity. Agility.

What if I told you, those are the exact reasons to keep going? Keep going, BECAUSE your mood is better. Keep going, BECAUSE now you enjoy your workouts. Keep going, BECAUSE now your food choices are more nutritious and filling. Keep going, BECAUSE now you sleep better. Keep going, BECAUSE now you aren’t so winded. Keep going, BECAUSE now you believe in yourself and your ability to stick to it!

I want you to keep going for you!

Decide that your life is worth it.

    Whew I feel called out and that is currently me. This is a great one Ashley. Paying for subscriptions. Motivating others on their journey and Im Sitting here not utilizing my discipline.

    This is a great way to passionately but subtly nudge someone to keeping going, start over, or simply get beck on track.

      I hope that it inspires people to get back on track or to start like you said. The goal is never to make people feel bad, so I hope that you don’t. But definitely hope that this gives someone encouragement to start over, or just simply start. With love!
